I have just heard word that Sir Alrion took his final death in Galavast.
There was no man more honorable than he was.
It was my honor to fight with him and it was even more of my honor to call him my friend.
Sir Alrion, you were the true defender of Ashton and her people. Your honor as a Knight was unquestionable.
May the darkness guide your path on your final way to sleep my friend.

All of Ashton is grieving. He was one of the few people that was real.

Sir Alrion was a shining example of knighthood, an icon for the peerage. I had the honor of adventuring with him recentely and I am glad that I did. I learned much from his actions and inactions. Life passes, death is the natural order, I am saddened for us and not for him. May you rest well, friend, may the principalities of your path lead you to the realm of your choice. Over the years I have known many knights in service to Stonegate and other lands. Sir Alrion was one of the few who I never saw commit an act unworthy of his oath and station. His quiet humility, honorable nature, bravery and good sense will be sorely missed.
A very old friend of mine, Rorc Ironblade, also took his final death in Galavast last weekend. He, too, was a fine person, a dwarf to be emulated, and I will miss him.

Sir Westgate is the greatest knight I have ever known. He is a shining example of knightly character, and above all a true and noble elf worthy of high honor among his people. His quest in life was left incomplete because his code bid him volunteer for another dangerous and worthy mission.
I beseech all who called Sir Westgate friend, to take up his quest of ending the existence of Sheth, and his minion, a former friend of many, Shadow. I'm sure Baron Gorloch will assist me in gathering and organizing a strike force to remove this threat from Tyrra. Now that the Valley of Bone is no longer covered in dark earth, there is greater hope of success. In the name of Sir Westgate. We will triumph.
Rest well my dear friend. May your spirit strengthen Tyrra.

Sir Alrion Westgate was more than just Knight. Him wise beyond him years. Him was honorable and a great warrior. Me was proud to call him Friend, Ally and Mentor.
When me first come to Ashton, me had very little purpose to me life. Him was willing to look beyond sword arm and furs. Him saw in me what me did not. Him taught me what it mean, really truly mean to be a Knight. With that knowledge and me sword, me will defend Ashton in him honor until it time for me to find way back to me own Ancestors.
Sir Alrion will be sorely missed. Ashton has lost true Defender.

Sir Tidus...
I fully agree with you. He was truly wise beyond his years, and was quite a spirit to reckon with if one was unfortunate to have to face him in battle. Yet at the same time, he was one of the friendliest of Ashton that I've met in my many years since travelling there. As Sir Brock stated, it is more sad for us than for him, because we are left without the example many relied upon. Sir Alrion, however, died performing his duties, and honestly, there would have been no better way for him - he died doing what he felt was right.
Sir Alrion, I merely say thank you for your example. May we be able to live up to what you've set before us.

It is always difficult to say goodbye to a friend, especially one that did so much good. It is easier to destroy than to create, easier to kill than to protect. He trod the tough path for so long, but with such grace that the weight of his sacrifices during life probably went unnoticed by many. He has certainly earned his rest. Now it is time for us to honor him by taking up the tasks he has left us.

Aw Man! Sir Alrion has gone on vacation too? Well fudge muffin's.
He was teaching me to be a proper knight. I looked around and he was the bestestly best example of a knight I've ever seen or heard about. And when I asked, he was more than happy to answer my questions, with patience that almost rivals the Great Old Guy himself!
I miss my friends. They are all going on vacation one by one. Maybe I should go on vaccation too soon. I'd like to see them again.
But either way, have fun Sir Alrion! Where ever you's vacationing at. I'll try to keep these guys in line till ya get back. And when you do, we'll pick up that coversation about that "not recoiling" thing again. I'm still not sure I get it.
May your roads be sunny and straight, my friend.

Sir Alrion was my family, my confidant, my friend. Him and I worked closely together many, many times when faced with affairs of the barony. I will miss his wisdom, his courage, his support and his guidance. Ashton is truly weeping for her lost son.
Thank you, Sir Alrion, for all you have generously given to the defense of the lands and the people. May we all strive to follow your example.

Sir Alrion Westgate was one of the best people I've ever met. People like him are very rare. It is sad that he has passed from us.

Lament for a fallen knight
Tyrra rest the weary heart Tyrra takes thee home The bravest and the brightest She claims for her own
Rest now thy weary knight Lay your head upon the earth Tyrra has tested thy mettle And proved it of her worth

I knew Sir Alrion Westgate for a long time. He held to the knights code like it was the air around him, and when it came time to face adversity he never waivered.
For what time I knew him I was honored, and I was honored to be there at his death.
